Kaiser Permanente Arena to Host UC Santa Barbara Men's Basketball

SANTA CRUZ, CA – Kaiser Permanente Arena, home of the Santa Cruz Warriors, will host the University of California, Santa Barbara Men’s Basketball team against Fresno State on November 11, 2022 at 2 p.m.

The Gauchos finished the 2021-22 season going 17-11 (.607) in 28 games led by fifth-year head coach Joe Pasternack. The team will be led by Senior F Miles Norris, averaging 10.3 pts and 5.6 rebounds in all 28 starts during the 2021-22 season for the Gauchos. After defeating No. 4 UC Irvine in the Big West Quarterfinals, the No. 5 Gauchos fell to No. 1 Long Beach State in the semifinals to finish the 2021-22 season. 

During the 2021-22 season, Fresno State went 23-13 (.639) in 36 games led by fifth-year head coach Justin Hutson. To finish the season, the No. 6 Bulldogs fell to No. 3 Colorado State in the Mountain West Quarterfinals. The team will be led by Senior G Isaiah Hill. During the 2021-22 season, Hill started in all 36 games averaging 10.1 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 40.7 percent from the field.
