Quinten Post And Pat Spencer Selected To Represent The Warriors At NBA All-Star 2025

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Santa Cruz Warriors two-way center Quinten Post has been selected to participate in the NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T, it was announced today. The game will be held as part of NBA All-Star 2025 on Sunday, February 16 at 12:30 p.m. PT at NBA Crossover in the Moscone Center. Fans can stream the game on Tubi and the NBA App.
Additionally, Santa Cruz Warriors two-way guard Pat Spencer has been selected to participate in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars, it was announced yesterday. 2025 Castrol Rising Stars will take place on Friday, February 14 at 6 p.m. PT at Chase Center in San Francisco. The Castrol Rising Stars champion will earn a spot to play in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, February 16 at 5 p.m. PT on TNT, TNT Overtime on the NBA App, and NBA.com.
In 17 games (all starts) with Santa Cruz this season, Post is averaging 18.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.2 blocks in 27.6 minutes per game. The two-way rookie center’s six-game regular season has been highlighted by four double-doubles and a pair of 30-point performances on January 7 against the Iowa Wolves and January 13 against the Valley Suns.
In five games (all starts) with Santa Cruz this season, Spencer is averaging 16.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 2.0 steals in 31.4 minutes per game. In his last appearance in Santa Cruz on January 25 against Salt Lake City, the two-way guard scored a career-high 34 points. Spencer is the only G League player to record averages of 16 points, six rebounds, and six assists or better while shooting 40%+ from behind the arc this year.
The NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T will feature a tournament-style format with four teams, drafted by influencer general managers, and composed of some of the G League’s most exciting players. Four influencer GMs will draft their teams from the pool of 28 players, including 10 NBA G League players selected by fan vote. NBA G League coaches will help guide the teams. The event will feature four teams of seven players competing in two semifinal games and will be played with rules similar to Rising Stars. Two teams will square off in semifinals matchups up to 30 points, and the winning teams will face off in a championship game to determine an overall winner.
The 2025 Castrol Rising Stars will feature four teams competing in a mini-tournament as part of NBA All-Star 2025. The annual event will showcase 28 premier young players, including 10 NBA rookies, 11 NBA sophomores, and seven NBA G League players. The 21 NBA players, selected by NBA assistant coaches, will be drafted onto three seven-player teams, while the fourth team will consist of the seven NBA G League players. The tournament will feature two semifinal games to 40 points, with the winners meeting in the championship game in a race to 25 points.
