Santa Cruz Warriors Beat Mexico City Capitanes, 135-126

 The Santa Cruz Warriors (4-6) beat the Mexico City Capitanes (7-3), 135-126, on Friday night at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, MX.

Guard Jerome Robinson led the Warriors with 24 points off the bench and guard Dusty Hannahs followed with 23 points. Guard Lester Quinones added 20 points in the win and center Jayce Johnson notched his fifth consecutive double-double, closing out the night with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

Mexico City was led by reserve guard Shabazz Napier with 36 points and six assists. Guard Rigoberto Mendoza added 22 points and seven rebounds and guard Mason Jones posted 21 points and eight rebounds. 

The Warriors held the lead through the first quarter, but the Capitanes scored with 4.4 seconds left on the clock to take the lead heading into the second frame, 37-35. The game went back and forth throughout the second quarter, but the Warriors closed out the first half with a 67-59 lead.

The Warriors maintained the lead throughout the third quarter, building to a 20-point advantage heading into the final frame, 110-94. Mexico City cut the lead to five points in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors held on to secure the win, 135-126.
