Santa Cruz Warriors Beat Stockton Kings, 125-114

STOCKTON, CA – The Santa Cruz Warriors (6-6) beat the Stockton Kings (4-6) 125-114 on Saturday night, completing a two-game sweep of the Kings in this week’s back-to-back set at Stockton Arena.
Guard Dusty Hannahs led the Warriors with 23 points off the bench. Guard Ryan Rollins, on assignment from Golden State, scored 22 points and added five rebounds, and forward Jerome Robinson contributed 21 points, five rebounds and seven assists. Center James Wiseman, also on assignment from Golden State, secured a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Guard DJ Steward led the Kings with 24 points and 11 assists off the bench. Guard Chance Comanche closed out the night with 18 points and forward Chima Moneke added 16 points and five rebounds.
The game remained close throughout the first quarter, but the Warriors trailed the Kings 30-27 heading into the second frame. Rollins scored with 1:35 remaining in the first half to give the Warriors a 60-59 lead at the half. Rollins led the Warriors with 12 points and Hannahs scored 10 points to close out the first half.
Santa Cruz won the third quarter 33-23 and led Stockton 93-82 heading into the fourth quarter. The two teams battled throughout the fourth quarter, but the Warriors extended their lead to as many as 13 points to earn the 125-114 win.
The Santa Cruz Warriors will face the South Bay Lakers on Friday, December 9 at 7 p.m. PST at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, CA.
