Santa Cruz Warriors Fall to Memphis Hustle. 140-131

The Santa Cruz Warriors (3-5) fell to the Memphis Hustle (7-1), 140-131, on Tuesday evening at Landers Center in Southaven, MS.
Guard Ryan Rollins, on assignment from Golden State, led the Warriors with 23 points off the bench and forward Gui Santos added 22 points and nine rebounds. Center Jayce Johnson notched his third consecutive double-double, closing out the night with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Lester Quinones also had a double-double tonight, contributing 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Memphis was led by forward Kenneth Lofton Jr. with 23 points off the bench. Guard Dakota Mathias put up 22 points and forward Vince Williams Jr. added 21 points and seven rebounds.
The two teams were neck and neck throughout the first quarter going into the second tied at 32. Warriors guards Zeke Moore and Jerome Robinson combined for 16 of the Warriors first quarter points. The Hustle went on a 9-0 run mid-way through the second quarter and were able to carry that momentum to capture a seven-point lead going into halftime, 72-65.
The Warriors won the third quarter, yet were still down six heading into the final frame, 109-103. The Hustle maintained the lead throughout the fourth quarter, eventually building to a 14-point advantage over the Warriors to secure the win, 140-131.
