The Santa Cruz Warriors (4-6) fell to the Stockton Kings (3-4), 110-103, on Saturday night at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
Coming off a win last night, the Warriors took an early lead thanks to seven first quarter points off the bench by both forward Gui Santos and guard Dusty Hannahs. Stockton fought back to tie the game mid-way through the second quarter, however another nine points from Hannahs gave Santa Cruz a 55-49 lead at the half.
Santa Cruz extended the lead to as many as eighteen points in the second half, but a 31-8 run by Stockton late in the fourth closed the lead to just one point with two minutes remaining in the contest. A dunk by Stockton center Neemias Queta gave the Kings a 104-103 lead with 1:26 remaining in the fourth quarter, and the Warriors never regained the lead.
Hannahs led the Warriors with 22 points off the bench and added four rebounds. Center James Wiseman, on assignment from Golden State, secured a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Santos added 10 points and six rebounds.
